Cut Copy Chair

Only materials used are corrugated cardboard and Elmer's glue
An experiment in the strength of simple materials to create a deceivingly useable structure.

This chair contains about 90 pieces of hand-cut corrugated cardboard layers, melded together with simple Elmer's glue. The chair involved tracing a stencil onto 90 cardboard sheets and hand cutting them with only a razor blade. The chair is only supported on one integral joint, but has soundly held up to 200 pounds. I am afraid to try anything heavier!
